Went down to singapore expo today for a mega book warehouse sale. I simply had to! Bought 4 novels for $15! I feel so accomplished. =) Ah, I feel old. I owe this to the conversation I had with my primary school tutee while giving tuition today.tutee: teacher, is ratio a hard topic?me: well, it depends. Some find it easy, some find it hard. You might find it easy!tutee: do you find it hard?me: right now? No, of course not. tutee: did you find it hard when you were of my age?me: erm.. maybe?Gosh! I really do not remember! Primary school was more than eons back! I feel old. Oh and while I was browsing through novels at the sale, I overheard a conversation between two girls who looked like they were from secondary school. One of them pointed at a row of novels and said "those are such boring adult books. My elder brother reads them," while the other claimed they were pretty alright. I really do feel old. That isn't necessarily a bad thing I guess. It's just that sometimes I wish I could bite into cotton candy at a funfair or something with not a single ounce of worry in my system. But hey, this is life.
Anyway, the movie Patch Adams (above) is a must watch. It is based on a true life account. One of the most inspiring and touching movies I have watched in my entire lifetime. Brought me to tears. For those who have yet to watch the movie, do make it a point to watch it at least once in your lifetime. It is most definitely worth it even if the movie's practically a decade old.Anyway, this is it for now. Cheers! =)
